I like how you put that: "God's beauty blesses our hearts and souls and gives us hope."
Sometimes I think about why I'm drawn to realistic photography rather than artistic shots, and I think it's because of what you said - God's beauty is so much greater than anything I can achieve artistically. I want to point to God's beauty, not my own creativity...
Beautiful photos and sentiments, Sheila! I need to get to some water, soon! It's not summer without a trip to a major lake or ocean. Lovely! I hope your retreat was fulfilling and pleasant.
Yes, go to the water! It was hard for me to go away from the ocean. It was unusually changeable and beautiful this time and the retreat was powerful on many levels...
The mystery of the ocean seems to speak to all of us, no matter where we are in life. I feel renewed on so many levels and can't even begin to explain how that happens just by being in the presence of the waves and tides, sun and sand... all endlessly shifting and reforming. Lessons in surrender and transformation.

God's artistic beauty cannot be duplicated by man. Those are wonderful photos you captured, especially the double rainbow.
