Silent Saturday: Sadness

"But listen to me; for one moment,
quit being sad. Hear blessings
dropping their blossoms
around you. God."

Those rose photos certainly bring you to your senses...lovely. On my sad days I try to remember the blessings and I too find them in a garden or nature.

It wasn't until I went outside with the camera to document what I saw that I felt the sadness lifting... It is so important to have a creative outlet.

I hope your sad days will pass soon! I agree that going outside and sitting with nature lifts the spirits!

I agree that it's great to have the outlet of nature and gardening as a tonic for blue days. I hope the mood lifts for you soon. Take care, and keep taking those beautiful photos!

Hi Karin and Beth, it felt good to garden again Sunday - it's been too long since I've worked in the garden, what with the heat and mosquitoes. Time disappears - and so did some weeds...

Sheila, it takes a very open spirit to turn sadness into something beautiful like this. Even so, I hope the sadness has eased for you!
